Alexandrina Cheese Company is located at Mount Jagged, 8km south of Mt Compass, in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula. We specialise in making handmade cheeses from our Jersey cows milk, in particular we have gone back half a century to make traditional cloth bound rinded Cheddar cheese, and at present we are the only manufacturers of Edam and Gouda in South Australia. We have been operating since April 2001. Our cheeses and dairy products are made using traditional methods supported with the combined knowledge of four generations of farmers and cheesemakers. As well as wholesaling our produce, we also operate an on farm retail outlet, ''The Cheesery'', which adjoins the factory, where we continue to promote regional produce.

Traditional Jersey Ricotta delicate, firm ricotta made from whey, skim milk & hint of lemon.
Feta in brine firm, creamy cows milk feta.
Natural Yogurt & Honey Yogurt a continental style yogurt rich in acidophilus and bifidophus.
Cultured Cream/ Crme Fraiche naturally soured cream with starter culture
Shredded Cheddar a gourmet shred with beautiful aroma and melt.
Fresh White Milk; pasteurised but NOT homogenized. Not available in Adelaide until 2004.
Full Cream Jersey Milk; >4.5% milk fat
Skim Jersey Milk; >1% milk fat
Feta in marinade Feta marinated in oil with either chilli/herbs or mustard seeds/herbs.
